I wanted to share some exciting news with you all today about the transformation of our native cloud software, UXRisk, into our new platform called Dmaze.
Let me take you back 10 years ago when we first developed UXRisk as a software for managing Risk Management processes. Our goal was to create a modern and efficient solution that was easy to configure and maintain. We made the decision to build the solution in a generic and "low/no code" way to ensure that the configuration and maintenance process was cost effective for our clients. This decision was based on our years of experience building other software, where the maintenance process was often difficult and costly for our clients (Very high TCO - Total Cost of Ownership).
As we continued to develop UXRisk, we found that not only was it a powerful solution for Risk Management, but also had great potential for other processes such as Incidents, Audits, Minutes of Meeting, and more. We ended up with 10 Standard Templates and started to sell these new Templates to our clients.
However, we faced a big challenge convincing clients that our new Templates were just as powerful and complete as other dedicated incident, audit, and non-conformance software solutions. Our clients questioned how our "risk software" could solve the same challenges as the dedicated solutions.
After taking feedback from our clients and domain specialists, we realized that we had developed a GRC platform, not just a Risk Management solution. This was a big realization for us, and we knew that we had to change our branding to reflect this.
That's when we decided to rebrand UXRisk as Dmaze - the ultimate GRC software platform. We combined cutting-edge AI technology with configurable templates to deliver unmatched performance across audits, strategy management, business processes, governance, risk management, control activities, and more!
The name Dmaze was actually chosen for a very specific reason. We wanted a name that would reflect the challenges that our clients face when managing GRC processes, and we felt that the name Dmaze was the perfect fit. A maze is a path or collection of paths, typically from an entrance to a goal. The metaphor is that the maze is the GRC process, and can be challenging to navigate sometimes. By putting a D (De) in front of the name, we aim to convey that we help our clients navigate the maze of GRC processes more easily and effectively. We want to be the guide that helps our clients reach their goals, and we believe that the name Dmaze captures that perfectly.
